She thought demons didn't exist. She was so, so wrong. Julia received a necklace supposedly containing the songs of the angels from her dad when she was four. When she was eleven, he abandoned her family and the necklace went silent. She assumed it was all a bunch of childhood nonsense, like fairytales and romance. At seventeen, Julia's getting straight As and working two jobs to maintain security for her family, but now her necklace seems to have come to life once again. And that's not all that's changing. When a robber attempts to steal from her family diner, the necklace blazes and burns her chest. The pain is nearly unbearable as the thief transforms before her eyes... into something demonic. Then, a stranger as beautiful as the demon was hideous shows up and requests she join him on some demon-hunting mission - whether she wants to or not. And she definitely doesn't.
