I bought this book with some hesitation, wondering if this would be a dry retelling of an old European battle. I was pleasantly surprised! I couldn’t stop reading it as Cornwall made the battle and those fighting it come to vivid life. It was also interesting learning about the Duke of Wellington, a historical hero not well known to Americans.
