Seller Description

Anderson War of the Worlds: Global Dispatches is an anthology of short stories based around the events of Wells' novel. Each short story is told from the perspective of a different notable historical figure, and written by various SF authors, including George Alec Effinger, Connie Willis, Robert Silverberg, Barbara Hambley, Mike Resnick, Gregory Benford and David Brin. The book itself is like new, and the dust jacket is excellent, with some light wear, primarily around the edges. For the sake of completion, and because they naturally go together, I am also including a paperback copy of the original The War of the Worlds. It is a Scholastic Books edition, and is in very good condition. The binding is still reliable, but slightly cocked, and there are no creases, rips, or markings inside. There is some creasing on the spine, and some wear to the edges and corners.
