Seller Description
Just finished this book in the Graphic Guide series. Like most of the series (and the Introducing... series that preceded the Graphic Guides), the book provides a solid introduction to the main definitions, questions, controversies, and ongoing developments in its topic area: in this case, human sexuality. The "graphic" part refers to comics-like illustrations throughout the book that are sometimes helpful and sometimes just a little relief from the weighty discourse you're being introduced to. This probably works best as a very early stop in a person's academic study of sexuality. The book's in great shape. It's been on a shelf in my house for a while, but I bought it brand new and just read it this one time, being careful not to bend it or get it messy or anything. I think I did pretty well with that. :-) Please note: I donate all the money I receive from PangoBooks sales to local non-profits that help people in critical need (e.g., women's shelters, half-way houses, food kitchens, etc.).
