This is a very engrossing study of the Japanese fashions and the ever important kimono. Beautifully written, giving you an inside look from the very beginning of the history of kimono to the modern identity of Japan. This book is in great shape. Published in 2001 it has very little shelf wear and still has its half dust jacket! (Which is rear find) There is a slight crease upper part of spine. Please note: the illustrations and photos are in black and white.
