Here we have a vintage hardcover edition of Don Quixote of la Mancha, by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. It was published by Grosset & Dunlap as part of their Universal Library. There is no date, but I estimate it was printed in the 1930's, since the Universal Library series originated in 1931. The binding is still strong; though the paper is cracked at both hinges, the mull is still intact. There is some water staining on the cover. The book cloth is worn through on one of the top corners, and at the head of the spine. There is an ex libris sticker inside the front cover, but it was never filled in. There are no rips, creases, or markings inside.
