Welcome to Coastal Books 🌊 📚 My name is Mike, I’m a medically retired Marine. I live on the coast of Maine. I have collected a lot of books over the years, and I’m looking to find them new homes. Smoke free home, I have a cat that helps me with quality assurance. I use recycled materials whenever possible. Every order gets a tea bag, just my way of showing my appreciation. I only ship on Mondays and Fridays, my health has gotten worse. I apologize for any inconvenience. I try to ship sooner when I can, this store is all I got that gives me purpose in my life. The USPS has been experiencing delays I’ve noticed, please keep that in mind. To the West Coast, it’s about 7 days. To Puerto Rico, it’s about 12-15 days. I try to document all damage on my books, my pet peeve is people who only take one photo of a book. Please leave a review, I strive for customer satisfaction. If any issues arise, please communicate with me and I promise to try to make it right. Please keep the maximum amount of books per order to 25-30. I had someone order 89 books once and my small post office wouldn’t accept it. Make as many orders as you need, I keep the prices low to encourage bigger bundles. Help me clear out my small apartment so I can refill the shelves with more thrift store finds. I have started to take down some books that haven’t received any shelves or carts. I just simply don’t have the storage for them. Every Saturday I plan on making a donation run, so filter my store to oldest first and see if you want any before they get pulled. I have an eBay store: coastalbooks207 I plan on posting more on there eventually. I have a lot of paperbacks from hell and higher priced books that I’m trying to research. My girlfriend has her own Pango shop: Berry Best Bookmarks. She makes incredible homemade bookmarks, she is open to requests. We took a break due to Em receiving her dream job and off to Maine we went. It was my turn to support her dreams. *Spring Cleaning Sale: All books will be donated by May 1st.
