This was a good quick read about an uncle trying to help his nephew and community after drugs find their way into the Lakota reservation in South Dakota. A good debut by a first time author & if you are familiar with SD and/or Denver you will enjpy this book.

This is definitely not a thriller, but it was SO GOOD. I really enjoyed it - it's quite slow, but an amazing story about Indigenous people, their resilience, and life on the reservation.
