In 2005, six months into their journey to start a new homestead in the Minnesota wilderness, Jackie Clay’s husband, Bob, died. Widowed with a 14-year old son and caring for elderly parents, Jackie Clay never thought about giving up. She was determined to build her new home in the wilderness.
