Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined is a young adult vampire-romance novel by Stephenie Meyer. It's a gender-swapped retelling of the first book in the Twilight series. The story introduces Beau Swan and Edythe Cullen in place of Bella and Edward. In the book, Meyer changed the gender of nearly every character, except for Renee and Charlie, Beau's parents. She explained this was due to custody reasons.
