Seller Description
These three books are part of a series of Alexander Dumas novels printed by Thompson and Thomas at the turn of the century. No publication date is listed, but the publisher only appears to have operated at the listed address (338 Wabash Avenue, Chicago) in the early 1900s. Book covers are clearly very worn/rubbed on the outside. Inside, the leaf paper is toned/tanned from age. Mild fading and/or smudging of the type on various pages throughout all the books. Mild foxing on paste down papers. “The Iron Mask” has a small stain on the leaf paper/fore edge from pages 1-44. Spine and binding are well intact. I believe they are in fair antique condition. Great addition for those who love classic literature, Dumas’ works, and need some antique book grunge on their shelf. Please feel free to contact with further details/pics, or individual listings.
