I gave this book 4.5 stars! I really enjoyed the characters and learning about chess. I thought there would be too much about chess in the book but Ali did a great job balancing everything out.

There were parts of the story that were very slow for me. I liked reading the chess matches but for some reason Mallory just got on ny nervous!
