I hate to part with this book actually! It was my uncle’s who passed away. Beautiful arguments for a Christian who is struggling with their faith vis a vis the hatred and intolerance in this society and sometimes the church itself. Critical yet open minded, disciplined yet loving, this book even helped me when I had written people off with generalizations. Whether or not you are Christian, this book takes another look at the Bible and society, and argues for peace where there is conflict today. very timely though it is vintage.
