This book was very much “dark academia” vibes. I thought it was really creepy at times and I really liked the fall/ivy college campus aesthetic. I had my doubts going into it. I thought it would be a cliche dark academia book. I was completely wrong - the story sucks you in along with the fascinating lore surrounding the various secret societies of Yale. It feels almost like a "Rated R" Harry Potter.
