Like new condition, read once and been on my bookshelves ever since. No rips, tears, bent pages, or flaws to dust jacket. This book hit me in my feels with nostalgia. Based in the late 90’s it’s a coming of age story following Rose and Charlotte — living on your own for the first time in the city, those relationships with your girlfriends who are like sisters, the elation and destruction of first loves, the highs and the lows of life as a young adult. As a now mother to two kids it takes you back to the time when you were just starting out on your own and figuring it all out as a child yourself…even when we for sure thought we were adults and knew everything. Bonus points for it being set in the late 90’s — if you’re in my generation, the late 90’s-2000’s was when we were figuring it all out.
