Nice 1961 vintage Signet Classics edition. Considered a favorite during Victorian times. Has been mentioned in Emma (Jane Austen), A Tale of Two Cities (Charles Dickens), Frankenstein (Mary Shelley), Middlemarch (George Eliot) and many others. For this reason alone, it is an important reference read. Overall solid condition. No writing. Noticed one dog eared page that’s been straightened. A few pages in middle of book show a little unevenness on outside page edges (see photo) Cover shows age related discoloration and slightly bent top corner on front and back.
