Amy Gumm, a troubled teen from Kansas, is swept up by a tornado and lands in Oz, only to find it unrecognizable. Dorothy Gale has returned and become a tyrant, ruling with an iron fist and draining the land of its magic. The Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Lion are now monstrous enforcers of her rule. Recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked, Amy is trained in magic and combat to assassinate Dorothy.
