This book was featured in a previous YouTube video and revealed itself to be one of the most surprising reads of my life. I found the mystery and the writing incredibly compelling while the characters were wildly frustrating ...it made for an altogether entertaining read, but what makes this book special is the way it takes deep into The logistics of revenge, especially how it impacts women's justice. It writes remarkably and honestly about grief -- as someone who just lost their mom this book means even more now. the annotations that I have written in this copy are incredibly personal!! while the sample photos are of annotations that are more comfortable to share. ..This is certainly a very content warning, heavy text and if you are uncomfortable reading about trauma or annotations unpacking trauma, then this may be one you should skip. I give it a five out of five star and I can't wait for this annotated copy to find a new home with a person whom those annotations will speak to.
