A heartwarming story of a young boy and his memories of living in an orphanage for boys. Jack Wittman spent 8 years in St. Patrick’s Orphanage in Baltimore. Upon graduation from Calvert Hall Ccollege, he attended Marshall College in West Virginia as a cadet in the USAAF. During World War II, he flew 20 missions over Europe. After the war, he attended Johns Hopkins university. He began his career with the Baltimore, Sunpapers, and retired after 42 years as Advertising Director. He lives with his wife, Doris, in Oak Crest Village Retirement Community and they have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
