Hello! Up for sale is a rare Uncorrected Proof of the epic fantasy novel GUARDIANS OF THE WEST by bestselling author David Eddings. This is the first book in the epic fantasy series The Mallorean, the sequel series to the landmark epic fantasy The Belgariad. This is an Uncorrected Proof. Uncorrected Proofs, also known as Advance Reader Copies, ARC’s or Bound Galleys, are prepublication editions of a book that are either sent out to editors for final revisions or out to reviewers or booksellers to promote the work. It’s not unheard of for Proofs to contain prior draft versions of the book that may differ from the published work. The Book is in Very Good condition with only light wear. The only flaws of note are a small ding to the front corner that affected the cover and the first few pages. The spine has also faded very slightly. It’s hard to capture accurately in photos, but it’s there. Otherwise, this copy is in great shape. The spine is tight and uncreased, and I included a close-up of the top where you can see a slight glue anomaly but it has no structural effect. There is no dustjacket.
