Seller Description
1974, 126 pages The price trends suggested in these pages are representative of price averages in the United States from coast to coast, allowing, of course, for price fluctuation due to regional scarcities of, or demands for, a particular piece, color or pattern. Keep in mind that this guide was written in 1974, and that I do not project future prices but reflect current ones. Prices are soundly based on data accumulated through my relentless surveillance at shows, flea markets, and shops; my extensive correspondence with collectors and dealers from every part of the country; and my essential familiarity with all aspects of the Depression Glass world. Where possible, listings of pieces and measurements are taken directly from the manufacturer's original catalogs, and these do not always correspond to what is observably true today. In such cases, however, I both preserve the historical listing and add to it, commenting on discrepancies where important. Where listed together, the prices of crystal are almost always low trend while the pink or green is high trend. As always, use PRICE TRENDS as a guide, but more importantly use your own judgment based on your knowledge of your particular ultimately be your own.
