The author of; however, the book includes “The Sweets of Solitude, or Instructions to Mankind (How They May be Happy in a Miserable World)” by Amos Wilson, the hermit who is the subject of the narrative. Apparently published as a souvenir by The Indian Echo Cave, Hummelstown. Pennsylvania in 1945 (although this seems to be a later printing). 56 pages printed on heavy stock measuring 5-1/2” x 4” with a larger paper cover (6-1/4” x 4-1/2”). Very clean, no marks or tears. The outer cover has dents and impressions formed by the smaller book stapled inside.
