Seemed to drag on and on, really needed to be edited more. The narrator was unlikeable and you could figure out the twists pretty early on. I think with more editing and less descriptions about excessive sailing terms this could’ve been a decent thriller. Otherwise it was meh at best.

I liked the premise, but the novel dragged for me. I think it was all of the nautical descriptions, that really slowed down the novel for me. I thought Iris was an unlikable narrator, and the twist was fairly easy to guess. It was fun to read, though!
