Tahmima Anam is a Bangladeshi-British author, anthropologist and filmmaker. She is best known for her novel trilogy, The Bengal Trilogy, which follows the story of a Bengali family over three generations. Her other works include the novels A Golden Age and The Good Muslim. Anam has also written short stories, essays, and plays, and her work has been featured in many publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Financial Times.
