Saladin Ahmed is an American fantasy and science fiction writer. He is best known for his Hugo Award-winning novel, Throne of the Crescent Moon. He is also the author of the Exalted comic book series and The City of Brass, a novel set in 18th century Cairo. Ahmed has also written for Marvel Comics, including Black Bolt, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and Miles Morales: Spider-Man.
