Robertson Davies was a Canadian novelist, playwright, journalist, and professor. He wrote more than twenty-five novels, several plays, and many essays and lectures. His works often explore the complexities of the human condition and the power of the imagination. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a Companion of the Order of Canada.
