Peter Haining (1940-2007) was a British author and editor who specialized in writing and editing books on supernatural and occult topics, as well as works of fiction. He wrote more than 50 books on these topics, including a biography of the occultist Aleister Crowley, and his work was credited with popularizing the supernatural in Britain.
