Mary Adkins is an American author of fiction and nonfiction. She has written novels, short stories, essays, and creative nonfiction. Her work has been published in literary magazines and anthologies, and she is the author of the novel The Fall of the Sparrow. Adkins is also a professor of English at the University of Houston.
