Lisa Mantchev is an American author of fantasy, science fiction, and children's books. She is best known for her Théâtre Illuminata series, which follows the adventures of a young actress named Beatrice Shakespeare Smith. Mantchev also wrote the Eyes Like Stars series, which follows the adventures of a faerie named Bertie.
