Laura McHugh is an American author of suspense and literary fiction. Her debut novel, The Weight of Blood, was a New York Times Notable Book of 2014 and winner of the International Thriller Writers Award for Best First Novel. Her other works include Arrowood, The Wolf Wants In, and The Widow of Pale Harbor.
