Kevin Barry is an Irish author whose works of fiction and non-fiction have earned him numerous awards and accolades. His short story collections, including Dark Lies the Island and There Are Little Kingdoms, have been praised for their darkly comic and lyrical style. He is also the author of the novel City of Bohane, and the novel Beatlebone. He has also written for the screen, including the feature film The Stag.
