K. W. Jeter is an American science fiction and horror author best known for his works in the steampunk and cyberpunk genres, such as his novel Dr. Adder and the Infernal Device. He has also written several sequels to classic works of literature, such as The Island of Dr. Moreau and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He has received the Bram Stoker Award and the Philip K. Dick Award for his work.
