Gregory Stock is an American biophysicist, entrepreneur, and author. He is the author of The Book of Questions and Metaman: The Merging of Humans and Machines into a Global Superorganism. He is the founding director of the Program on Medicine, Technology and Society at the UCLA School of Medicine. He has written widely on the implications of emerging technologies for society, and his research focuses on the ethical and social implications of biotechnology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence.
