Diane Fanning is an American true crime author who has published more than twenty books on crime and justice. She is best known for her Edgar Award-nominated book Through the Window: The Terrifying True Story of Cross-Country Killer Tommy Lynn Sells. She has also written books on the West Memphis Three, the Laci Peterson case, and the JonBenét Ramsey case.
