Carolyn G. Heilbrun (1926–2003) was an American academic, author, and feminist. She was a professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University and the author of numerous books and essays on literature, feminist theory, and women's history. She is best known for her groundbreaking work in feminist literary criticism and her groundbreaking biography of the author Virginia Woolf.
