Brian Moore

Brian Moore (1921-1999) was a Canadian-born British novelist and screenwriter. He wrote several novels, including The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne, The Luck of Ginger Coffey, and The Emperor of Ice Cream. He also wrote the screenplay for Alfred Hitchcock's classic film, The Birds. He was known for his complex, psychological fiction that often explored themes of alienation and identity.
