Allie Reynolds was an American professional baseball player who played in Major League Baseball from 1942 to 1954. He was a right-handed pitcher who played for the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a two-time All-Star and a two-time World Series champion. He was known for his power pitching, leading the American League in strikeouts four times. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
